Female Victim Hurt in Pedestrian Accident near Commerce Street

OCEANSIDE, CA (June 24, 2022) – Saturday evening, a pedestrian crash on South Oceanside Boulevard left one woman injured.

According to Oceanside Police, the crash happened just before midnight near Commerce Street.

Investigators said a truck driver backing into a loading dock of a grocery store accidentally ran over the legs of a sleeping woman.

Per reports, the driver heard a bump before he got out and heard a woman screaming.

Eventually, medical responders arrived at the scene and transported the woman to a hospital after receiving non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities described the female victim to be in her late 30s or early 40s.
