27-Year-Old Woman in Critical Condition after Traffic Accident on Sunset Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (June 15, 2022) Sunday evening, a pedestrian crash on Fort Apache Road left one 27-year-old woman injured, police said.

On June 15th at about 8:25 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Fort Apache Road, south of Sunset Road.

Furthermore, the 27-year-old woman was walking outside a marked crosswalk when a Chrysler Sebring struck her for reasons unknown.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the woman to UMC for treatment of serious injuries.

Following the incident, the driver of the Sebring stayed at the scene to cooperate with authorities and showed no signs of impairment.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. Moreover, an active investigation into the pedestrian crash along For Apache Road is currently ongoing.
