Pedestrian Crash on Brundage Lane Hospitalizes One Woman

BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 21, 2021)  An unidentified woman sustained injuries Sunday night after a pedestrian crash on Brundage Lane.

The incident happened around 7:45 p.m. on September 19, on Brundage Lane near South Olive Street.

According to the CHP, an unknown vehicle struck a woman on the road, under unclear circumstances. Medics then rushed the woman to a local hospital with a moderate to major injuries.

At this time, authorities did not reveal her identity and her current condition.

While it is early in the investigation, authorities said it does not look like intoxication contributed to the crash. However, an active investigation is ongoing.
