Elderly Woman Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Collision on Clairemont Drive
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 17, 2022) – Thursday morning, a woman was severely injured in a pedestrian accident on Clairemont Drive.
According to San Diego Police, the crash happened shortly after 8:00 a.m., in the 3500 block of Clairemont Drive.
Investigators said a southbound 2004 Ford F-150 struck the pedestrian crossing the street. Eventually, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The identity of the injured woman remains unavailable, although officials believed she was in her 60s to 70s. At this time, San Diego officials continue to investigate the pedestrian crash.
