68-Year-Old Woman Hurt in Three-Vehicle Crash on San Pasqual Valley Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 11, 2021) – A 68-year-old woman sustained major injuries Friday evening after a multi-vehicle crash on San Pasqual Valley Road.
The accident occurred on the 17900 block of San Pasqual Valley Road around 5:00 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The woman was driving eastbound on the highway in a 2015 Ford Fiesta when she lost control, drifted into the opposite lanes, and collided head-on with an oncoming 2007 Volkswagen Jetta.
Following the collision, both vehicles spun, and a passing 2010 Nissan Cube struck the Ford.
Paramedics rushed the woman who sustained serious injuries to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the Jetta, a 28-year-old man, suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, the Nissan driver was unharmed.
At this time, authorities have not identified the victims involved in the crash. More information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
San Diego Police continue to investigate the crash.
