Motorcycle Crash on Pershing Drive Sent One Person to Hospital

SAN DIEGO, CA (October 5, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, a woman sustained injuries following a motorcycle crash on Pershing Drive.

The collision happened on September 21st, at around 2:20 p.m., near the 1900 block of Pershing Drive.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman riding a 2020 Ducati motorcycle was traveling southbound. There, a 75-year-old man driving a 2015 GMC pickup truck reportedly failed to notice the motorcyclist and sideswiped her.

Paramedics arrived shortly after and assessed the woman who sustained minor injuries and a pelvic fracture. Meanwhile, the other driver did not suffer from any injuries and face no charges at this point.

The San Diego Police Department is currently investigating the crash and asks that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
