Indio Hit-And-Run Driver Seriously Injures Female Driver

INDIO, CA (August 4, 2021) Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver that left a woman injured on Wednesday in Indio.

The incident happened around 2 A.M. July 21, at the intersection of Avenue 48 and Jackson Street, police said.

Furthermore, investigators claimed that a silver 2002 Ford pickup truck collided with a Chevy Malibu at the intersection.

However, the Ford driver did not exit the vehicle and immediately fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Eventually, firefighters arrived and extracted the woman from inside the Malibu and transported her to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The Indio Police are encouraging anyone with information about the hit-and-run suspect to contact them at 760-391-4057.
