Pedestrian Accident near San Diego Avenue left Woman Injured

SAN DIEGO, CA (MAY 3, 2023) – Sunday evening, a hit-and-run crash near the 4000 block of Harney Street a woman injured. The incident happened on April 23rd, at around 6:15 p.m. According to reports, a 29-year-old woman and a goldish-tan Ford F-350 crew cab truck were involved. The Ford pulled over to pick up the woman but as the woman got in, the driver continued to drive forward. As a result, the woman fell down the street and was run over by the Ford. The driver left the scene and did not call for help. Furthermore, the woman suffered wounds on her thigh and head and police stated that the woman was in critical condition. At this time, it was unknown if the driver and the victim knew each other. At this time, the hit-and-run crash on Harney Street is still under investigation.
