Vehicle Catches Fire after Collision near Joshua Street in Hesperia

HESPERIA, CA (November 29, 2021) – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 left one woman injured Saturday afternoon.

The collision occurred around 1:09 p.m., on the southbound lanes of the freeway, south of Joshua Street. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

Eventually, firefighters from San Bernardino County responded to the location and promptly extinguished the fire. Meanwhile, paramedics transported a female Nissan driver to a hospital with a broken arm.

Officers say no one else was injured amidst the crash. However, the incident caused traffic to back up for several miles on Interstate 15.

At this time, the California Highway Patrol Victorville station is investigating the cause of the multi-vehicle crash.
