Two-Vehicle Crash on Forest Avenue Left One Injured

CHICO, CA (December 17, 2021) – Paramedics sent a 35-year-old woman to hospital after a two-car crash on Forest Avenue Thursday afternoon.

According to CHP, they responded at Forest Avenue and Springfield Drive around 4:27 p.m. on December 9, after receiving reports about the crash.

Eventually, officials arrived at the scene and found an Amazon Van turned on its side. As per reports, a small Toyota SUV ran a red light and collided with the Amazon van.

Paramedics rushed the 35-year-old female van drive, who complained of pain, to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, the 81-year-old Toyota driver sustained no injuries.

Furthermore, authorities closed the area for a few hours, but has since reopened.

Chico police continue to investigate the cause of the two-car crash on Forest Avenue.
