Female Victim Injured in Auto Collision near Almeria Avenue

FONTANA, CA (January 21, 2022) – Tuesday evening, one woman was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on Foothill Boulevard.

According to police, the incident occurred around 6:51 p.m., just west of Almeria Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a possible head-on collision between a white Mercedes SUV and a red Ford Mustang.

Eventually, the San Bernardino County Fire personnel arrived and extricated the Mustang driver and transported her for moderate injuries. Meanwhile, medical personnel treated the Mercedes driver on-site.

The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
