Driver Wanted Following Carondelet Street Hit-and-Run

WESTLAKE, CA (October 20, 2022) – Tuesday evening, a woman sustained injuries after a hit-and-run on Eighth Street.

The injury collision happened around 9:50 p.m. along 8th and Carondelet Streets.

According to the LAPD, a westbound dark-colored Toyota Tacoma struck a pedestrian along Eighth Street. However, the driver fled the scene before the authorities arrived.

Eventually, first responders arrived and transported the woman to a nearby hospital for treatment of severe injuries. The identities of all parties involved in the incident remain unavailable.

At this time, the Los Angeles Police Department is giving up to a $25,000 reward to anyone who can give information about the suspect.
