Two Hurt, Including 3-Year-Old in Hit-and-Run Collision on Minarets Avenue

FRESNO, CA (December 23, 2021) – Early Monday evening, a woman and her grandson were injured in a pedestrian accident on Blackstone Avenue.

According to Fresno Police Department, incident happened around 6:40 p.m.

Furthermore, reports show that the 66-year-old woman was holding her 3-year-old grandson while walking within a marked crosswalk near Blackstone and Minarets Avenue.

There, a bright blue four-door car that was driving between 20 to 25 miles per hour, and hit them. Police said the car had a white company label on the front driver’s side door. Additionally, it appeared to be an ‘Uber’ sticker on the lower right front windshield.

Authorities reported that the driver did not stop following the crash, and is currently wanted for felony hit-and-run.

Paramedics took the woman to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
