Calabasas Bus Struck and Killed a Pedestrian

CALABASAS, CA (July 19, 2022) – On Friday evening, a woman was fatally struck by a bus near the 101 Freeway.

According to investigators, the incident happened around 7:39 p.m., when a woman’s SUV stalled in the northbound lanes of the 101 freeway, just north of Parkway Calabasas. The woman exited her vehicle and was struck by a bus, leaving her with critical injuries.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene shortly after and administered first aid. However, the woman’s wounds were too severe and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Currently, the woman’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
