Female Pedestrian Dies Accident on Cameron Park Drive

Tuesday evening, a woman was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on Green Valley Road.

The incident happened around 6:50 p.m., near Cameron Park Drive. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

California Highway Patrol said she was walking on a roadway from a convenience store in Cameron Park. There, the driver of a Dodge pickup-truck hit her.

After the impact, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the female pedestrian dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved. No further details regarding the crash are public at this time.
