The incident happened around 1:00 a.m., near the intersection of Alvarado and Montana Street. According to reports, the driver of a big-rig ran over a sleeping woman, leaving her with life-threatening injuries. Due to the extent of her condition, first responders declared the woman dead at the scene. However, authorities have not yet released her identity.
