76-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Accident near Walnut Avenue
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 7, 2023) – Tuesday night, a 76-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash on North Eastern Avenue.
Las Vegas Police responded to the scene around 5:18 p.m., north of Walnut Avenue after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.
Officers say the driver of a 2017 GMC 2500 entered a private driveway off of Eastern Avenue. There, the front of the GMC struck the right side of a Toyota Corolla, redirecting it to face a south direction.
Medics arrived and transported the 76-year-old female driver of the Toyota to a nearby hospital where she eventually succumbed to her injuries. Authorities have not yet released her identity.
The driver of the GMC remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. No further information regarding the multi-vehicle crash is public at this time; however, more information will be provided once made available.
