Pedestrian Crash on Myrtle Avenue near Foothill Boulevard Left One Woman Dead

MONROVIA, CA (November 22, 2021) – A woman lost her life in the hospital days after a pedestrian crash on Myrtle Avenue Monday morning.

The accident happened around 8 in the morning of November 15, on southbound Myrtle Avenue near Foothill Boulevard.

According to reports, a car traveling between 5 to 10 mph collided with the woman in her late 60s at a crosswalk.

Responding officials located the pedestrian trapped beneath the truck, and firemen had to use specialist equipment to free her.

Then, paramedics rushed her to a hospital for treatment, but she later died from her injuries.

At this time, officials withheld her name until next of kin is notified.

Monrovia Police continue to investigate the pedestrian crash on Myrtle Avenue.
