28-Year-Old Woman Killed in Auto Collision near Dabney Drive

SAN DIEGO, CA (November 21, 2022) – Early Tuesday morning, a woman was killed in a car accident on Mira Mesa Boulevard.

Shortly after 3:30 a.m., police responded to the scene in the 7700 block of Mira Mesa Boulevard near Dabney Drive.

Initial investigation showed that the 28-year-old female driver of a 2010 Ford Mustang lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a thoroughfare. The Ford then went off-course and struck a raised concrete median before crashing into a tree.

Upon impact, the female driver was ejected from her vehicle, causing fatal injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released her name or place of residency. Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, further events leading up to the car accident on Mira Mesa Boulevard are unknown. Once available, more information will be provided to the public.
