Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Two Vehicles near Village Lane

BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 8, 2022) – Friday night, one woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Stockdale Highway. 

The deadly collision occurred around 10:30 p.m., at the 5100 block of Stockdale Highway near Village Lane.

Per reports, the driver of a vehicle struck a female pedestrian who was walking outside of a marked crosswalk. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the severely injured victim.

Shortly after, a second vehicle ran over the woman as she was lying in the road. The second driver also fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Responding medical crew declared the female pedestrian dead at the scene. However, authorities have not yet released her name or place of residency.
