63-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Jutland Drive
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 8, 2023) – Friday, one woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Morena Boulevard.
Authorities responded to the scene just after 10:30 a.m., at the 4600 block of Morena Boulevard on September 1st.
Investigators say the driver of a vehicle struck a female pedestrian and immediately fled the scene without contacting authorities.
Paramedics arrived and transported the woman to a nearby hospital for further treatment of life-threatening injuries. Although, police have not yet released her identity.
At this time, the suspect remains at large and an investigation is still ongoing.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided about the pedestrian collision on Morena Boulevard.
