A woman claiming to be a molestation victim of director of Roman Polanski came forward Friday morning via a press conference with attorney Gloria Allred.

Charlotte Lewis reported the encounter to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office Thursday, according to TMZ. She said Polanski had sex with her in France when she was 16. The age of consent in France is 15.

It's not clear what the woman wants, although, with Allred at her side, a settlement with Polanski seems like one possible wish. Polanski, however, has said he's strapped for cash because of the costs of battling extradition, which has been requested by the D.A.'s office.

Polanski fled to Europe in 1978 before sentencing on a conviction of having sex with a 13-year-old in Los Angeles.
