Sonoma wineries will strut their stuff during a Sonoma in the City: Los Angeles promotion this Tuesday through Thursday, May 4th through 6th, that will offer tastes at every level, from free for the cash-strapped to a $150 wine dinner.

The $150 dinner at Melisse on Wednesday features four Alexander Valley producers–Skipstone, Souverain, Munselle Wines and Stryker Sonoma. Call (310) 395-0881 for reservations.

A Russian River Valley Winegrowers Dinner takes place Thursday at Valentino with wines from Iron Horse Vineyards, Joseph Swan, Inman Family, Longboard Vineyards and Papapietro Perry. The price is $100. Call (310) 829-4313.

Tuesday tastings are at Bottle Rock in downtown Los Angeles from 7 to 9 p.m. ($20) and at the Wine House in West Los Angeles from 7 to 9 p.m. (free).

Tasters have two options on Wednesday. Du Vin Wine & Spirits will pour at Cecconi's Restaurant in West Hollywood from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (free), and Bottle Rock in Culver City will hold a tasting from 7 to 9 p.m. ($25).

Tastings on Thursday are at the Woodland Hills Wine Company from 5 to 7 p.m. (free) and at Wally's Wine & Spirits from 6 to 7:30 p.m. ($20).

More than 40 Sonoma County winemakers, winegrowers and winery owners will take part in the series of events.
