Domaine LA: Barolo

In Italian, the word ubriaca means “drunk,” which is what you may be, if you sample all the wines on tap at LA's newest pop-up, Ubriaca LA (@ubriacaLA). A wandering wine bar hosted by Domaine LA's Jill Bernheimer and her cohort Whitney Adams (Brunellos Have More Fun), each event focuses on a different region, grape, style and theme. The first one, happening next week at charcuterie shrine Salt's Cure, features 10 uncommon Italian wines at $10 a glass.

McCormick & Schmick's: Wine in Glasses

That means no stereotypical Pinot Grigios or Chiantis. Instead, expect less common wines like Favorita, Gropello and Greco, to name a few.

For noshing, there will be a limited food menu featuring an Italian-themed cheese plate alongside bread from Atwater's Proof Bakery, condiments from Sqirl Jams and Tuscan olive oil from the harvest that Adams worked in the fall of 2009.

When: 7 – 11 p.m., Tuesday, June 14th
