Fatal Hit-And-Run on Lucerne Valley Kills 3 Young Girls

LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (June 11, 2021) – Police search for the driver that killed Daytona Bronas, Willow Sanchez and Sandra Mizer on Saturday.

According to the CHP, the incident happened at 10:19 p.m., along Camp Rock Road, just north of Rabbit Springs Road.

A white 2002 Chevrolet Silverado struck four young girls from behind while they were walking. Two of the girls involved in the incident were in wheelchairs.

Eventually, responders pronounced 3 girls dead at the scene. A fourth young girl, 14-year-old Natalie Coe, was injured and is currently being treated at a local hospital. She was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center by Mercy Air.

The coroner’s office later identified the deceased victims as – Willow Sanchez, 11; Daytona Bronas, 12; and Sandra Mizer.

At this time, the San Bernardino County sheriff’s office is still searching for the suspect. Anyone with further information is asked to contact the Victorville CHP office at 760-241-1186.
