DUI Driver Arrested after Multi-Vehicle Collision near Reed Avenue

SACRAMENTO, CA (January 20, 2022) – Police arrested William Letson after a multi-vehicle DUI crash on Interstate 80 early Friday morning.

According to reports, the incident occurred just after 3:00 a.m., near Reed Avenue. For DUI related reasons, Letson rear-ended a Toyota Prius while traveling west on Interstate 80.

The impact pushed the Prius forward causing it to hit a CHP Tahoe vehicle. Then, Letson’s Acura RDX stopped in the middle of the road where another vehicle struck it shortly after.

Investigators say all drivers involved in the crash suffered from minor injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.

Moreover, Sacramento Officials booked 33-year-old William Letson to Sacramento County Main Jail for DUI.
