1 Arrested after Two-Car Crash on SR-125 that Injured William Lehr

COLLEGE PLACE, WA (December 30, 2021) – On Monday, 48-year-old William Lehr injured and 41-year-old James Mathews arrested in a two-car crash on SR-125.

The collision occurred at around 2:30 p.m., November 29, along State Route 125 and College Avenue.

According to reports, Mathews was traveling north in a 1993 Toyota Camry when he drifted into the southbound lane and collided with a 2007 Toyota Corolla.

Officials identified the Toyota driver as William Lehr, 48, of Touchet.

Paramedics then rushed both driver to Providence St. Mary Medical Center for treatment of their unspecified injuries.

Police eventually arrested Mathews for vehicular assault. Currently, authorities said no bail amount was set for Mathews.

However, an active investigation is still ongoing.
