36-Year-Old Turlock Man Dies in Traffic Accident near Hughson

TURLOCK, CA (November 29, 2022) – Late Monday morning, William Hanson was killed in a hit-and-run on Geer Road.

Police received reports of the incident around 11:30 a.m. at the 1200 block of Geer Road near the city of Hughson, per initial reports.

According to the police, a white SUV truck southbound on Geer Road struck a person before immediately leaving the area.

Unfortunately, responding medical professionals declared the pedestrian dead at the scene, despite their life-saving efforts. Authorities later identified the victim to be 36-year-old William Hanson of Turlock.

At this time, detectives are looking into multiple surveillance cameras for footage of the incident.
