Vehicle Accident near Baseline Road Left One Fatality
LA VERNE, CA (June 6, 2022) – Tuesday morning, William Elftman Jr. died in a backyard crash on St. Mark Avenue, police said.
On May 31st, a crash took place in the 4300 block of St. Mark Avenue, near Baseline Road according to La Verne officials.
Furthermore, authorities immediately responded to the scene upon receiving the report about a vehicle that collided through a brick wall and into a backyard.
Eventually, paramedics declared the driver, William Elftman Jr., dead at the scene after suffering critical injuries. Meanwhile, no other injuries were reported.
Reports state that he hit a curb for reasons unknown, which caused him to crash into the residence. The surrounding area was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
An active investigation into the collision is underway.
