33-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident on Spruce Avenue

SILVER SPRINGS, NV (July 3, 2023) – Wednesday morning, William David Hulsey was killed in a motorcycle collision on US Alt 95.

The incident occurred around 5:00 a.m., near Spruce Avenue.

Per reports, the rider of a 2017 Suzuki GSK_R1000 motorcycle was heading south on the highway. Meanwhile, a 2004 Peterbilt flatbed with two trailers was turning left from Spruce Avenue onto the northbound lanes.

The motorcyclist then attempted to pass a vehicle in a no-passing zone at a high rate of speed and collided with the second trailer. Upon impact, the rider was ejected from the motorcycle onto the road.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics later pronounced 33-year-old Hulsey, of Reno dead at the scene.
