Waiting in line is never as much fun as it is when you're camped out in the early evening on a picnic blanket with your friends, draining a bottle of wine, and working through a box of fried chicken (or cheese and grapes, if that's how you roll), eagerly awaiting a movie at Hollywood Forever with hundreds of other happy Angelenos.

This Sunday, October 11th, the Entertainment Industry Leadership Institute (EILI) is hosting Ghostbusters at the cemetery for the price of five cans of food. The canned food drive is an attempt to raise awareness of the hunger problem in Los Angeles and collect donations for Fed Up With Hunger, The Jewish Federation's community-wide initiative to end hunger in Los Angeles. (A $50 donation will get you a FastPass in case you're feeling generous and would rather skip the line.)

As per the Cinespia screenings in the summer, it's probably a good idea to get there pretty early and secure a place in line before the gates open. Feel free to bring as much food and drink as you can carry, a blanket or very short chairs to sit on, and don't forget to bundle up, it's getting cold! Gates open at 6 pm, movie at 7:30 pm.

Hollywood Forever Cemetery: 6000 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles.
