Alma at The Standard

Bar Amá
On the brunch menu at Josef Centeno's homey Tex-Mex spot downtown: grandma's chorizo with jack cheese and flour tortillas, Amá’s enchiladas with carrot sofrito, queso fresco and potato, mom's green enchiladas with chicken and “mom's favorite” chicken tortilla soup. 118 W. Crossroads

Gracias Madre

Hinoki & the Bird
This Century City favorite isn't normally open for Sunday brunch, but from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. it will offer a classic menu of house-made breads and pastries, challah French toast, sake-cured salmon with buckwheat toast and a croque monsieur. 10 W. Ledlow

For Mother's Day brunch, Ledlow is offering a $40-per-person set menu that includes a mimosa or bloody Mary, red oak lettuce salad, shrimp and grits, and strawberry shortcake. 400 S. Main St., downtown; (213) 687-7000, ledlowla.com.

The Pikey
The Pikey will offer brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with specials such as a local asparagus and speck quiche, doughnuts with strawberry filling, crab and avocado toast, and spinach en cocotte7617 W. Sunset Blvd., Hollywood; (323) 850-5400, thepikeyla.com.

Sausal

Viviane

Winsome
