Is there more pressure to figure out where the hell to go out on New Year Eve's than any other holiday? Depends on the type of crowd you run with. For restaurant hounds, eating out on NYE means wading through the special dinners that every spot in town seems to be offering.

We've complied some New Year's Eve dinners that caught our eye this year (be sure to call ahead for reservations) and ranked them by price, just to make your last meal of 2015 a little less nerve-wracking.

New Year's Eve Specials at Love & Salt |  à la carte

Rather than opt for a prix-fixe menu, this Manhattan Beach restaurant will be featuring some decadent year-end creations by chef Michael  Fiorelli. You can order from the standard dinner menu or from a specials list including sea urchin toast with lardo ($18), lobster pizza with gruyere, grilled green onions and creamy lobster sauce ($26) and a foie gras cheeseburger with Wagyu beef, truffle cheese and pickles ($32). 317 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Manhattan Beach; (310) 545-5252, loveandsaltla.com.

New Year’s Eve Celebration at Barcito | $49

If you're looking to hang out downtown for NYE but want something a little more low-key than Nokia Plaza, consider this Argentine-leaning tapas restaurant. They'll be offering unlimited passed appetizers for $49, including pan-fried chicken with salsa criolla, ricotta-potato dumplings with pistachio pesto and juicy short rib empanadas. New Year’s Pub Party at Golden Road Brewery | $50

Start your meal with a pint of brandy-barrel-aged Back Home Gingerbread Stout at Golden Road Brewery, a special release for holiday revelers. Your ticket also includes a four-course meal featuring skirt steak bruschetta, persimmon salad, braised pork shank and fried cheese grits, and an apple cranberry tart for dessert. 5410 W. New Year’s Eve at Salt's Cure | $65

Check out Salt's Cure's new Hollywood location by making a reservation for its celebratory New Year’s Eve dinner. A three-course menu includes winter bitter green chop salad, potato dumplings with wild mushrooms and beef tenderloin bordelaise. Or you can upgrade to a $125, five-course menu that includes grilled oysters, cedar plank salmon and duck leg with oatmeal griddle cakes.1155 N. Bubbles & Bouillabaisse NYE Party at Cadet | $75

At his Santa Monica restaurant, chef Kris Tominaga is ending the year with a three-course meal of family-style dishes that have ranked as diners' favorite in 2015, including a seafood-saturated bouillabaisse platter. NYE Dinner & Rooftop Champagne Party at E.P. + L.P. | $75

At this West Hollywood Asian-inspired hotspot, $75 will get you chef Louis Tikaram's five-course New Year’s Eve dinner (dishes range from Wagyu tartare and Kingfish sashimi to charred octopus salad and crispy skin chicken). New Year's Eve at Rustic Canyon | $125

Jeremy Fox is pulling out the stops at Rustic Canyon for an eight-course, family-style menu that includes menudo rioja with beef tripe and tongue, Nantucket Bay scallops with leeks, smoked Passmore Ranch sturgeon rillettes and lush, triple-cremé French cheese with black truffle and chestnut honey. New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance Party at Le Petit Paris |  ($75 (5 p.m.); $135 (8:30 p.m.) 

Downtown's new French bistro is offering two seatings for its opulent dinner (and champagne toast) that includes lobster, duck breast and chocolate cake. The restaurant's ample size means there will be plenty of room for dancing to the DJ after the ball drops. 418 S Spring St.,
