Torque . . . did you see it when it hit theaters? Chances are, given its box-office tally, probably not. But that's okay, because The Fast and the Furious–esque action bonanza, starring Ice Cube and Jaime Pressley, is the target of Doug Benson's Movie Interruption this week. The comedian's justifiably popular “Doug Loves Movies” podcast gets mashed up with his faux-chat show, “The Benson Interruption,” (both of which go down at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre) in this live-commentary monthly series at Cinefamily. Benson promises a play-by-play of every ounce of speed, leather, and cheesy one-liners, as he, along with fellow comic Paul Scheer and the film's co-star, Adam Scott, unleashes his comedy arsenal on Torque. Don't forget your helmet. Cinefamily at the Silent Movie Theatre, 611 N. Fairfax Ave.; Sun., Aug. 22, 8 p.m.; $12. (323) 655-2510, cinefamily.org.
