According to the Wall Street Journal, the ball is in play during the average NFL game for 11 minutes. They timed four key games in 2012 to figure it out, and the 11 minutes matched experts' “estimates.”
People are scary-crazy to see those 11 to 13 minutes and all the stuff in between.
Last year, in the most-viewed TV event in American history, an average of 111.3 million viewers saw the New England Patriots get slammed by the New York Giants.
