When it comes to textured hair, Bounce Curl is one of the most renowned in the field of hair care. It’s recognized in hundreds of countries, present in major stores in the US, featured in national television programs, and has been seen on many billboards throughout the country. It has also won awards for being one of the best natural hair care products today.

Bounce Curl was founded in 2015 by CEO Merian Odesho, a cosmetic formulator from the Middle East. She grew up using homemade gels for her curly hair, and it was always very effective. Therefore, she made it her mission to show everyone the benefits of using products made from natural ingredients.

There are countless products for textured hair on the market, but not many use natural ingredients. In fact, there are over 20,000 chemical or synthetic ingredients that are commonly used in hair products. In contrast, there are less than 800 natural ingredients used. This is one of the reasons why there aren’t many hair care brands that use chemical-free ingredients.

One of the few is Bounce Curl. The brand doesn’t use DEA/MEA, PEG’s, Parabens, Phthalates, Sulfates, Silicones, Propylene Glycol, or Butylene Glycol. According to the Think Dirty application, which tells how potentially hazardous an ingredient is, Bounce Curl’s products received a minimum rating of 3. This means that the brand doesn’t make use of toxic chemicals.

Bounce Curl uses natural scents from essential oils derived from flowers and herbs. Although some products contain synthetic fragrances, the chemicals used aren’t considered toxic. In fact, the Think Dirty application determined them as safe.

The benefit of being natural is that it removes the side effects of getting in contact or taking in harmful chemicals. Synthetic ingredients can also cause allergic reactions, headaches, and dizziness, among many other reactions. In addition, strong chemicals in hair products can lead to hair damage, thinning, and, eventually, balding.

Unlike other companies, Bounce Curl is included in the PETA website for being cruelty-free. It’s also planning to transition to PCR or recycled plastic this year. That way, the brand can do its part in reducing plastic waste. This means that for the sake of the customer or the environment, Bounce Curl is an excellent option.

However, one of the best qualities of Bounce Curl is the fact it’s always up-to-date. Whenever new and better alternatives arise, the brand makes adjustments to make sure that the customers only get the best. If reformulation is needed, Bounce Curl will incorporate it as long as it’s for the sake of improving the product.

All things considered, Bounce Curl indeed has more to offer than other hair care brands. It’s also hazard-free, cruelty-free, and environmentally-friendly. In fact, those are some of the reasons why hundreds of thousands follow the brand on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
