A West Hollywood medical marijuana dispensary continues to defy that city by staying open.

The Sunset Super Shop on Sunset Boulevard isn't one of the four pot retailers approved by the City Council, and the body even declared operating a rogue cannabis outlet a criminal endeavor. And still, the pot still goes out the door at the business, according to NBC4. Pot shops that are following the rules are not amused:

“I don't want illegal shops to stay open,” Andrew Kramar, owner of the city's oldest dispensary, told NBC4. “The difference between legal and illegal marijuana dispensaries is real. It's like comparing a well-lit, well-regulated CVS Pharmacy and a back-alley drug shop in Tijuana. It just isn't safe.”
