International recording artist and author, Wesley Wren, better known by his stage name, Showtime GMG, announces the publication of his first children’s book, I Want To Be: An Athlete.
In his first edition of the series, “I Want To Be,” Wren aims to help children navigate through different sports with colorful illustrations and simple, yet effective rhyming. The book intends to provide young readers with a quick, poetic perspective on sports.
In addition to penning his first book, Wren co-owns WW Beauty Supply, which opened in 2021. The 6th Annual Indie Music Awards Artist of the Year nominee reveals his plans to write three more children’s books in 2023, continuing his “I Want To Be” series. He also reveals his plans to open three additional beauty stores by January 2024.
Wesley “Showtime GMG” Wren charted on Billboard earlier this year. In 2010, Wren signed a record contract with platinum recording artist, Twista and GMG Entertainment. The Indie artist is most known for his two released albums, Sho Frazier and Sho Frazier 2. Wren’s songs are available on all streaming platforms, including Apple Music, YouTube, Spotify, Deezer, iHeart Radio, and Tidal.
