Planned Parenthood's annual fundraiser Food Fare 2013 is back today with 100 participating restaurants and purveyors, featuring Joe's Restaurant, Bar Pinxto, the Beer Chicks, The Corner Door, and The Tripel. Other restaurants setting up at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium include Angelini Osteria, BOA, Church and State, Drago Centro, and Huckleberry.

WHAT: Food Fare 2013

WHEN: March 7, 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. (day); 6:30-9:30 p.m. (evening)

WHERE: Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, 1855 Main St., Santa Monica.

COST: Tickets are available at the door; $150 for day session, $200 for night session.

Grilled Cheese Night

Campanile may have closed late last year, but that doesn't mean Mark Peel won't be returning to the scene sometime soon. Starting next Thursday, his grilled cheese sandwiches will be making a brief appearance on a weekly basis until April 5 at 3Twenty Wine Lounge. Owner Edward Poureshagh will arrange wines to pair with each sandwich.
