Just when you thought America's favorite hip-hop star had put all of his embarrassing moments behind him, you cringe when you hear radio hosts poking fun at his latest…embarrassing moment.

This time it's Kanye chastising Matt Lauer while on the set of NBC's “Today” show on Tuesday for showing archival footage of the Grammy winner's outburst at the MTV Video Music Awards during country singer Taylor Swift's acceptance speech, as well as an interview with former Pres. George Bush.

On Twitter, Kanye claimed that Lauer was trying to

“force” his answers.

Now you can memorialize these wonderful Kanye moments with a copy of the Root website's “Kanye West's Top 10 Most Egocentric Moments”.

The photo gallery of Kanye, who is described as having an ego “larger than a Louis Vuitton luggage collection,” describes his famously bad and lesser known but equally tragic blunders.

That includes the time he burst into song (it was a cappella of “Gold Digger”) during a recent Delta Airlines flight.

And then there was the incident at Europe's VMA award show. Like deja vu, he interrupted the acceptance speech of English rock band Simian for best video.

“[My video] cost a million dollars,” said Kanye, who was beaten out by the band for the award. “Pamela Anderson was in it. I was jumping across canyons and sh–.”

And the list goes on and on.

It would be funnier if I thought the mega-star could control himself. Turns out, the singer doesn't seem to have benefited at all from his reported stint at an LA rehab.

With all of this bad publicity, you'd think that a celebrity of his stature would have the wisdom to put a muzzle on it or at the very least, hire a handler strong enough to do it for him.

But I guess, if you're among the world's top egocentrics, shutting up and laying low just isn't your thing.
