Admirers of the male figure (beardy Americana variety) take note: indie alt-country band Or, The Whale has just released a video for “Rusty Gold,” and it features a fella fitting that description wearing nothing more than the generous scruff on his chin.

The San Francisco seven-piece's video is the latest in a recent string of not-safe-for-work offerings from Girls, Flaming Lips, Imaad Wasif and Massive Attack. In a 180 from the days of controversial clips being banned from television, digitally distributed videos bearing the “NSFW” tag are guaranteed more, um, exposure. Not to say such was the motivation of any of these bands — the Wild West-iness of the World Wide Web also makes room for more unfettered expression.

Either way, the details of this steamy short speak for themselves. While the song laments the loss of a beloved pet, actor Will Lucas performs a gradual striptease en route to a remote lake. Upon reaching said lake, our hero-in-the-buff dives in, appears to die, then emerges as his missing dog. Truth be told, it's far more touching that it is touch-yourself, but there's got to be at least one person whose particular kinks align to make this a sweltering hot viewing experience.

Porno cross-references: Drowning snuff, animal transmogrification / reanimation, nude in nature, running whilst stripping. Watch the video, then relive the magic aurally any time you'd like by downloading the song's MP3.
