Everyone seems so sure that Reese Witherspoon's condescending sext lesson at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles last night was directed at Blake Lively, the young “Gossip Girl” hottie whose bedroom-mirror body shots recently took the celebrity blogosphere by storm (NSFW).

Spoketh Witherspoon, upon receiving her inconsequential Generation Award: “If you took naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone, you hide your face, people! Hide your face!”

But what uncanny timing, that L.A. blogger Andrew Breitbart should unveil…

a shirtless pic of New York Congressman and media plaything o' the week Anthony Weiner the very next afternoon. (And Breitbart claims to have another “so vulgar” he can't blog it. Hot damn.)

Weiner's guilty eyes may be cropped out of the photo, but that thin, bottom-heavy Mona Lisa smile and misshapen hook nose to rival freaking Adrien Brody's are unmistakeable.

Bet he's wishing he'd asked an Oscar winner for some sexting advice before it was too late:

If only dirty pols (and, OK, pouty “Traveling Pants” pin-ups) could come as wise as the world-weary Witherspoon. To better illustrate the Christopher Lee effect, we'll hand it over to this outstanding ven diagram by I Love Graphs:

Witherspoon couldn't have said it better herself. When will they learn, right babe?

And as for her take on sex tapes — “When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed” — we can only hope the MTV speech foreshadows what's to come in Weinergate.
