74-Year-Old Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash North of Meyers Grade Road

SONOMA COUNTY, CA (February 21, 2022) – On Wednesday, Warren Adams died after his vehicle drifted off Highway 1 and crashed.

According to California Highway Patrol the crash occurred just before 11:21 a.m. on February 16th, north Meyers Grade Road.

Based on preliminary investigation, police said 74-year-old Adams of Fairfax was traveling northbound on SR-1.

For reasons yet to be known, his vehicle drifted to the left and drove off the roadway.

It rolled over several times, eventually falling several hundred feet down the hillside.

Helicopter crews had to be called to rescue its solo male occupant, later identified as Adams, who died at the scene.
