The folks at the Hammer Museum are brave, or maybe something else. They decided it's a good idea to initiate “Open Projector Night,” an opportunity for you to screen your short film. “Expect rowdiness to ensue as the crowd divides between boos and cheers — a cross between open-mike night and The Gong Show for locally made film and video shorts. Amateurs and professionals are equally welcome — as long as the work is 10 minutes or less. Sign-ups are first come, first served. Feel free to bring your favorite munchies and don't forget to grab a drink at the cash bar!”
