Motorcycle Accident on 405 Freeway Kills 36-Year-Old Walter Romero

GARDENA, CA (October 5, 2021) – 36-year-old Walter Romero lost his life Friday morning in a motorcycle accident on 405 Freeway.

The California Highway Patrol responded around 4:30 a.m. in the southbound area of 405 Freeway after receiving reports of a collision. Responding officers located a man lying on the ground.

Despite life-saving attempts, paramedics later pronounced the rider dead at the scene.

Authorities identified the rider as 36-year-old Walter Romero, from San Pedro.

At this time, officials said it was not clear what caused the fatal crash, however, an active investigation is currently underway.
