A video was released today in support of Prop 37, the proposition to make the labeling of genetically modified foods a requirement in California. The video features a bunch of celebrities, including Bill Maher, Danny DeVito, Dave Matthews and seven others explaining that “your puny little head would explode” if you actually knew what was in your food. A press release from the CA Right To Know Campaign states that “The video was sponsored by Food & Water Watch, which is working to raise money to get it on network television.”

As with much of what Bill Maher does, the video shows that quite often, satire can be the best vehicle for making a political point. Watch the video after the jump.
