Flames erupted on the rooftop of a building famous for housing the offices of one of the world's largest porn studios, Vivid Entertainment in the Cahuenga Pass.

Hot stuff, indeed: Luckily, no one was hurt in the making of this blaze.

The fire at 3599 Cahuenga Boulevard near Universal City was reported at 7:16 p.m., Cecil Manresa of the L.A. Fire Department told the Weekly:

Fortunately for the porno nation it appears that flames did not reach “any floors below the roof,” he said. No injuries were reported either.

The building feature's the logo of Vivid, known for its celebrity sex tapes (Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton) and adult spoofs (Star Wars XXX).

The fire was mainly confined to the roof, according to Manresa: He said those kinds of blazes “usually” involved rooftop equipment (heating, air conditioning and the like), but the cause at this point was still yet-to-be determined.

Eighty-four firefighters were sent to the emergency, Manresa said. The flames were doused by the L.A.'s finest first-responders in 22 minutes.

Cue bow-chicka-wow-wow music.
