Possible DUI Driver Kills 59-Year-Old Vincent Koehler on a Berkeley Crosswalk
BERKELEY, CA (September 3, 2021) – Vincent Koehler died in the hospital Monday, after he was struck by a suspected DUI driver in mid August.
According to officials, the collision happened along San Pablo Avenue when Koehler attempted to cross the street.
First responders arrived at the scene to transport Koehler to a trauma center as he was suffering from critical injuries.
Tragically, he was taken off life support and passed away Monday afternoon.
Furthurmore, the the suspected DUI driver, Barry Bull, was initially arrested and police are launching an active investigation.
Investigators also released that the 65-year-old Barry Bull was driving a green Chrysler Town & Country minivan during the time of the collision.
