Updated at the bottom with a slight change in plans.

You didn't expect Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to leave office quietly, did you?

No, the Charlie Sheen-hugging, TV-news-hottie-dating city leader is going out like a lion, partying it up for 24 hours. All, apparently, without the aid of ecstasy:

His bus tour started at 6 this morning and ends at 6 a.m. tomorrow at Griffith Park Observatory, according to the mayor's office.

The end-of-days raging includes time at the Conga Room and the inevitable post-club stop at King Taco.

Here's most of the schedule, according to the mayoral truth-tellers contacted by the Weekly:

Is there an after-after at Joseph's in Hollywood? Villaraigosa's not telling. But we did hear that he will retire to his new digs in Venice's tony Milwood neighborhood. Not a bad place for a hangover.

[Update at 5:14 p.m.]: As a result of the Ninth Circuit Court's decision to lift its stay on its Prop. 8 decision, which cleared the way for same-sex marriage to resume in California, Villaraigosa has a slight change in plans.

According to his office he will wed U.S. Supreme Court plaintiffs Paul Katami and Jeff Zarrillo at L.A. City Hall at 6:15 p.m.
