The controversial mural of Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa at Susy's Meat Market in East Hollywood, which, over the past few weeks, had red-painted splattered on it, the word “vendido” (translation: someone who sells out his people) spray-painted on the mayor's collar, and big, red letters scrawled across it, is now undergoing a complete face lift.

Just before Marciano started his work on Thursday, the original mural, painted by the artist known as Rabi, looked like this:

It seems to us that as long as Villaraigosa's mug is up on that wall, there's a good chance that more “alterations” will be coming.
